Abundance Principle #4: I Surround Myself With Positive People
TikTok video from 2022-04-26
This is part four of my Abundance Affirmations series, and today’s affirmation might just be the most me one yet:
“I Surround Myself with Positive People”
Now listen—I'm polyamorous. Which means, by design, I am navigating multiple relationships, emotional landscapes, communication styles, nervous systems, love languages… you name it.
So when I say this affirmation defines me, I mean it.
I don’t just practice this. I live it.
You know what I’ve learned from being the Poly Wife?
You have to be intentional with your energy.
Because love is abundant—but your emotional bandwidth?
That’s sacred real estate, Babe.
I don’t let just anyone in.
The people I surround myself with aren’t always sunshine and sparkle (though let’s be real, some of them are literal sunshine in human form). But they are honest, kind, supportive, and willing to grow. Willing to mess up and own it. Willing to cheer for me when I’m thriving—and hold me when I’m crumbling.
They’re the people who see all the versions of me and still say, “I love you right there.”
They don’t drain me. They charge me.
And I’ve built my whole world around that. My home. My partnerships. My friendships. Even my digital space—this blog, my channel, my TikToks—it’s all just me sharing how I meet, choose, and nurture the people in my life.
Because I know this:
My abundance grows when the people around me are rooted in joy, respect, and truth.
There’s no room for low-vibration chaos here. No space for manipulation masked as “being real.” No space for energy vampires, passive-aggressive digs, or people who can't clap for others.
In my world, I don’t make space for drama.
I protect my peace like it’s my job.
Because it kind of is.
If you’re in my life, you can trust that I’m doing the work—and I expect the same from you. When they don’t want to do the work, I’m okay with releasing that expectation, and honestly THAT was hard. Being willing to watch someone else experience pain, because for them it’s easier than doing the work to move past it, was probably one of the most difficult challenges I faced… Much harder, for me, than to do the work myself.
So yeah, I surround myself with positive people.
Not just people who make me feel good (though they do).
But people who challenge me lovingly, stretch me spiritually, and remind me of who I am when I forget.
And if you’re wondering how I do it?
Well, that’s basically what I talk about all the time.
So stick around. Follow me. Read my stories.
This is the magic I live and breathe every day.
And if you need the reminder:
You get to choose who surrounds you, too.
